Tzur, Yaakov

Tzur, Yaakov
(b. 1906)
   Israeli diplomat and public figure. He was born in Vilna, and emigrated to Palestine in 1921. He worked in the head office of the Jewish National Fund from 1929 to 1948. After the estabishment of the State of Israel, he represented Israel in Argentina and other South American countries, as well as in France. He later returned to Israel, where he became director of the Jewish National Fund.
